The stainless steel compost pail has a carbon filter to keep any smells contained when the lid is closed, and a handle to easily carry it outside to the compost bin. The fluted, polished body is made of durable 18/8 stainless steel, and holds 1 gallon of kitchen scraps and other organic materials.
It measures 11 inches tall, with a 7 inch diameter.

The filters for this unit are double layered, with a round and square layer. This double filter is extra effective at reducing odors. In a pinch, you can use either a Round 6.375 inch or a Square 4.625 filter as a replacement, but we recommend using the double filter for the best results. Save on shipping by adding extra carbon filters with your order! Each filter lasts for 6 months to a year.
